Regular inspections are the most overlooked part of a complete fall protection program.
Regular inspections are recommended to ensure systems continue to protect workers throughout their lifespan. While workers are required to perform a pre-use inspection before each use, High Engineering recommends a professional inspection be conducted at least once a year. For systems in harsh environments that are used frequently, inspections may be required more frequently.
In Canada testing of window washing anchors is required before systems are put into use and once every 5 years if post installed, adhesive anchors are used. Backed by our in-house engineers, our field technicians complete regular testing at the designated intervals. Our structural engineers assess how best to proof load anchors, designing load test apparatus as required to not damage surrounding structures. Our comprehensive inspection reports detail recommendations and our sealed certification letters provide ease of mind between inspections.
